Belle Noche – Penthouse Corporate Catering Event

In collaboration with IMG and Valli Art Gallery, Mangia was proud to produce and execute a fabulous event last night at the penthouse of the new Zaha Hadid building in NYC at 520West 28th street. The event, named  ‘Bella Noche’, was attended by a number of NYC real estate brokers and art lovers, who had the pleasure to view paintings from the Italian artist, Carlo Battaglia,  represented by Valli Art Gallery in NYC and Miami.

Carlo Battaglia was an Italian artist born in Sardinia. Battaglia grew up in Genoa until 1943 but returned to La Maddalena in, Sardinia in 1947. He studied stage design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, studying under Toti Scialoja, and graduated with a thesis on Jackson Pollock in 1957.

Battaglia served in the Italian Air Force from 1958–59, and in 1962 moved to Paris. In 1967, he lived in New York City, where he established friendships with Reinhardt, Motherwell and Rothko.

‘ We are proud to have designed a fabulous event with our partners at IMG and Valli Art Gallery that awed the honored guests in attendance’, said Chloe Muniak, event designer and art director of Mangia Group.
