summer cocktails
There is nothing more refreshing than a summer, delicious cocktail to keep you cool and hydrated during the heat waves this month and beyond.
We handpicked 5 of the easiest and most yummy cocktails that you can make at home and that everybody would love.
Here are the chilly drink recipes:
1.Skinny Pineapple Jalapeño-Infused Cocktail
If summer to you means endless chips and guacamole, meet your dream cocktail: a sweet and spicy vodka drink that makes salty food taste even better.
Ingredients
1 cup vodka
1 diced jalapeno, seeds removed
Cocktail
1 shot jalapeño vodka (1 – 1.5 ounces)
2 tablespoons pineapple juice
6 ounces lime or pineapple flavored sparkling water
Instructions
Pour the vodka into a glass jar and add the sliced jalapeño. Seal the top with a cover or lid and let sit overnight to infuse
When ready to assemble the cocktail, combine one shot of the jalapeño infused vodka with 2 tablespoons pineapple juice and 6 ounces sparkling water flavor of choice (lime or pineapple works best).
Add ice and pineapple tidbits if desired.
Vodka can be stored in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator or freezer.
2.Campari Grapefruit Sorbet Rosé Floats
Because no one should drink a mimosa with juice if there’s sorbet in the freezer. Made with our newly launched sorbet in collaboration with Il Labortatorio de gelato NYC, this cocktail will become your new obsession.
Ingredients
1 pint of Campari grapefruit sorbet
5–6 oz. vanilla vodka
1 bottle of rosé wine (we use a Rosé Brut for some bubbles)
Instructions
To a glass add 1 oz. of vanilla vodka, a scoop of sorbet and top with Rosé.
Repeat process for each additional drink.
3.Strawberry Orange White Wine Sangria
This recipe calls for strawberries and oranges, but as long as you stir your favorite white wine with tasty summer fruits, you’ll be sippin’ pretty. With tequila and fresh basil in the mix, it’s the kind of big-batch cocktail you really can’t mess up.
It’s a simple mix of sliced or chopped fruits, basil (yes, basil, because wait till you taste it), wine, a splash of hard liquor like brandy/tequila or vodka (we are using a splash of tequila here) and some sparkling water for a little fizz.
Traditionally, red wine sangrias are more popular and favoured, but we think you’ll want to give this white wine sangria a try. It’s milder, has a light sweetness and tang, and is not as heavy as a red wine sangria. It’s definitely more summer. Brighter and fresher.
In our experience, sangrias usually need a lot of fruits and some resting time. Make sure to mix this a couple of hours ahead to let the fruit soak in the wine and the flavors intensify. This can even be made and left to rest overnight if you are hosting a summer brunch.
- Piña Colada Daquiri
This is the kind of summer cocktail for someone whose daydreams involve mai-tais and tanning on the beach. It’s a hybrid between a piña colada and a strawberry daiquiri.
INGREDIENTS
3 oz white rum
10 oz pina colada mix
2-3 cups ice
2 oz white rum
8 oz strawberry daquiri mix
2-3 cups ice
1 cup strawberries
pineapple leaves, slices, and strawberries as garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
In a blender, mix together 3 oz white rum, 10 oz pina colada mix, and 2-3 cups of ice. (Start with 2 and see if it needs more or if it’s too thin). Pour into a pitcher.
In the blender, then add 2 oz white rum, 8 oz strawberry daquiri mix, 1 cup of strawberries, 2-3 cups of ice. (Start with 2 and see if it needs more or if it’s too thin.)
Pour a bit of the strawberry daquiri mixture into a glass, then pour your pina colada mix, and finish with more strawberry daquiri.
Garnish with a slice of pineapple, some pineapple leaves, and a strawberry!
- Rosé Chilton
The chilton was supposedly born when an overheated Texas man approached a bartender and requested a mixture of vodka, lemon juice, club soda, and ice. The resulting chilly beverage should definitely make its way onto your summer drinking list.

3 ounces Three Olives Brand Rosé Vodka
3 lemons
club soda
ice
Instructions
Pour ice into the glass.
Add 3 ounces of vodka along with juice from 3 lemons.
Top it off with club soda and add a lemon wedge.
